Long Letter Home

In Long Letter Home, 2024, an almost ninety foot illuminated scroll of photographs is suspended in the shape of two overlapping infinities, asking for the viewer to engage with one fragment of the scroll at a time and meander around tracing the outline of the larger shape. The installation speaks to old-fashioned sense of letter writing. It recreates the sense of relying on somatic memory, following the flow of recollection and self-reflection as we do when we remember and retell our lives.
