Today was Tomorrow Yesterday

Today was Tomorrow Yesterday is an immersive installation, composed of surround projection and abstract somatic sculptures. The projected images of cast glass sculptures float in space and expand the perceived architecture of the physical space to create a sense of dislocation and uncertainty. On entering, visitors become participants, interfering with the projected images and casting multiples of their own moving shadows. Tall bronze sculptures are centered within arm’s reach and respond to touch with subtle movement. Combination of the new and old media creates an introspective space to consider how much our past experiences make up our plans for the future, while we are distracted by competing beams of light filled with flickering images.
